Welcome!
Welcome to Beyond Parkinson's! We are on a mission to improve quality of life for patients with Parkinson's disease. Your life is more than just the diagnosis you've been given. You deserve to be a part of everything that is meaningful to you- be it cooking your favorite dish, bowling with your buddies or grilling in the backyard . Our approach combines occupational therapy with principles of LSVT to help you move with ease and have less fear of falling. Thank you for taking time to know more about ways we can help you.
Our Core Values
Compassion: The whole reason we exist is because we care about your well-being. What matters to you is what matters to us.
Excellence: We take pride in the quality of our work. That means your get one-on-one attention that you deserve- every single time! Tired of being grouped with two-three other patients? Then experience what it is like to get individual attention from your therapist!
Empowerment: Our goal is to empower you with tools and techniques to stay independent. That is the gist of occupational therapy after all :)
What sets us apart?
When you work with us, everything is personalized! We get to know your needs, goals, and interests- and this is what makes therapy personalized. We get to develop long-term relationship with you- something that is hard to get in cookie-cutter outpatient settings. When you work with us consistently, we can monitor nuances in your performance and alert you if there is a decline. And we get to know the type of coffee you like to drink (because, why not?)
